Position: Warehouse Operator

Location: Memphis, Tennessee

Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team. The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for performing the day to day assigned warehouse functions related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, delivery of products, parts, and materials, and perform machine modifications. This position is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, or storing items according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instruction. The Warehouse Operator must also be able to operate a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Day-to-day management of the Torin Drive warehouse

· Familiarity with inventory control and cycle counting

· Unload inbound containers and mark stock items using barcodes

· Receive and count stock items, from either suppliers or vendors, using the LISA system (RF gun)

· Unpack items to be stocked on shelves and warehouse floor

· Pick orders using the LISA system (RF gun)

· Pack, seal, and label to prepare materials for shipping

· Ensure shipment and inventory transaction accuracy using the LISA system (RF gun)

· Complete machine modifications

· Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas

· Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with safety regulations

· Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors

· Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment and the physical upkeep of the warehouse

· Ensure productivity objectives and processing time goals are met

· Maintains a cooperative relationship with all departments while interfacing with Operations Manager, Warehouse Supervisor and Project Managers to answer questions or solve problems

· Provide assistance or direction to warehouse co-workers

· Identify areas of improvement to establish, innovative, or adjust existing work procedures and practices

· Heavy lifting (50 lbs.)

· Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

· Prior experience working in a warehouse.

· Ability to perform assembly and disassembly using hand and power tools, including a drill press, and operation of machinery.

· Ability to work independently and safely.

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

· Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date.
